So you wake up on Monday and you think 'today is the day! I need to get my ass in gear, let's go!' and you tie up your sneakers and go for a 4 mile walk. Then you wake up on a Tuesday and life, same with Wednesday, so on Thursday you say 'f it, I will start again next week.'

Then figure out the habit needed to achieve that goal. If the end game is strength building, you need to add resistance training to your workouts.
